Kanye Tumbles 4 Boy George

Tuesday, October 21, 2008

Big news: Kanye West loves "Karma Chameleon". With that, I feel much more comfortable pumping my Culture Club Greatest Hits album in my car, with the windows rolled all the way down rolling through campus...I kid, I kid. I'm never ashamed of some good-old fashioned CC, they had some great tunes ("Time (Clock Of The Heart)" is the shizz-nick). On another scale, it feels like this blog is turning into 808's and Heartbreak news headquarters but so many interesting tidbits for the project keep on popping up, it's hard not to devote a post to. From the Electric Ladyland-rip off "artsy fartsy" listening party to Kanye declaring his love for British piano-rock band, Keane. Now it comes out that Kanye has declared his love for some more British folk, as (once--twice removed?) Culture Club frontman Boy George is writing some tunes for the rapper. Lord, only knows if these songs will make it onto the new effort or the supposed 2009 album Kanye is brewing at this point...but since Kanye is on this auto tune kick, maybe he should do a cover of "It's A Miracle"...it was a political song (or so PopUp Video said), and we know how Kanye and politics go hand in hand. Or maybe he'd fair better with "Church Of The Poisoin Mind"...Keyshia Cole screaming doing female vocals on it of course...
