Could've Been In Love Right Now, If I Wasn't For That Darn T.O.N.Y.

Let's state some facts...Solange Knowles brought some unique flavor to 2008 and managed to surprise and enthrall doubters like myself with her take on the Motown sound. Her sophomore effort, Sol-Angel and The Hadley Street Dreams is easily one of the best this year had to offer especially if you've been digging the scene of the 60's soul revival. Sure we know she is the younger sister of "she who is always named" but like Kylie is to Dannii Minogue, the littlest sister always manages to be a bit rougher around the edges. Take for instance this crispy n' fresh vid for single, "T.O.N.Y.". Solange manages to give us the realness about one-night stands as she does the walk of shame home (with her band and Cee-Lo following her) as well as show us for a good solid minute her taking a pregnancy test...and manages to flip her hair alot. Then there is a smart twist at the end of the vid that is sure to get outbursts of "Ah ha!". Oh, yeah, sista got dug a little deeper with this one!
