Pharrell and Co. Give Us A Visual Display Of The Recession

How appropriate! N.E.R.D. get their "Custodial Arts" on as they become janitors at the stock market in the video for new single, "Sooner Or Later". The third single off of their underrated 2008 Seeing Sounds album takes on a whole new meaning with this visual display of what has been occurring on the Wall Street front these days, and it's a pitch perfect approach. It's quite intriguing how they changed the whole effect of the song just by the video, because its obvious this song is not about what happened with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac a couple of months ago...unless N.E.R.D. are psychic...*cue Twilight Zone music*. Though I'm kind of glad that "Sooner Or Later" is the new single (because "Spaz" and "Everybody Knows" were complete and utter garbage), I really thought either "Love Bomb", "Kill Joy" or "You Know What" had it in the bag for the follow-up single...well, we can't always get what we want. Is it just me or does Pharrell look cute in his janitor garb?
