Haywoode Sits On Some La-Z-Boys

Friday, February 13, 2009

Guys, you might get a little pissed with this vid, as long lost 80's Funk-Pop singer, Haywoode uses men as furniture in the video for 1985 single, "I Can't Let You Go". Literally, she does. She sits on them, puts her feet up on them and throws her coat on them...bizarre but it makes for a entertaining vid (and for not a bad idea...just kidding!). The British singer had a short run as a pop vocalist and its kind of a shame since this song and her one and only known album, Arrival, is a fun and great hi-NRG funk album. There are about three different versions of this song floating around, but this one is the funkiest of the bunch. Dig on the 80's high class fashion and also check out that all mighty weave that resides on Haywoode's head. It makes Beyonce's extensions look like child's play...
