VV Brown Falsely Advertises

Friday, May 1, 2009

VV Brown is all kinds of ridiculous, hence why she is adored by the Audio Diva. There is more to her than her bangs (which recall my elementary school pictures), and it's the new track, "Shark In The Water". The song has the British performer in a much more toned down setting, a far cry from her nutty 50's hip swiveling rock-a-dilly tunes she's been doing, and well...it's GRAND. So does the video, which debuted yesterday, live up to the song's grandiose nature? Not quite. I'm sensing no one got the memo of the song's title because there isn't an aquatic reference laced in this three minute vid. Not that its a bad thing...as the video is quite lovely and it oh so gets ya in the mood for the summer months, but this is seriously false advertising. No swimming pools? No beachfronts? No blow up toy shark? Guess they didn't want to be too obvious. Whatever, the song is geared to be a summer stunner and that's what's important. VV's debut album, Travelling Like The Light is to drop in stores June 15th.
