Audio Vision: Little Boots Serves Up The 'Remedy'

Monday, June 1, 2009

Time for a techno kick in the pants as some tracks from Little Boots have gotten leaked from the faucet. Just in time too, as the drop date for Boots's debut, Hands is rapidly approaching. The tracks, "Remedy" and "Symmetry" have been exposed and they continue to feed the flames of the fire that is to be Hands. "Remedy" is hi-NRG dance, perfect for the clubs and it literally slaps you in the face with its electric power. On the other front, "Symmetry" features vocalist, Human League vocalist, Phillip Oakley and it's a welcome burst of power pop that emulates the best of both Boots and Human League's worlds. Without any doubt, "Symmetry" should be a single release, it's just hella good. Still not blown away just yet by the Boots? The keyboard enthusiast has been popping up on UK television lately promoting and performing tracks from her debut. Here's a clip of Boots tambourining it up on Later with Jools Holland singing, "New In Town" and "Remedy".
