The King of Pop, Michael Jackson has passed away today at the age of 50. His music and legacy will forever be remembered and cherished.

Tribute post coming up tomorrow...

  1. Micheal Jackson really was THE Ultimate Recording Artist. He sing, he danced he did everything that an REAL Self-Porclained artist was suppose to do. His career was the blue print for alot of artists out there, he inspired, emotional impacted so many people with his story and with his lyrics. He was truely not just a artist he was Pop culture icon and his music will sustain the test of time along with his dedication and hard work to his craft. He broke down alot of barriers with the MTV generation, and he redefine what it meant to be a superstar.

My favorite Michael Jackson moment had to be at the 25th Motown Anniversary Special. Although I was personally very small and hardly remember the broadcast. The footage of him debuting the Moonwalk is priceless. It redefine a moment in music history because no one had ever seen anything like it before.

My favorite song by Micheal Jackson would be Beat It. That song is the queticential pop song. In regards to structure and from an artistic stand point you can't get the song out of your head, and it's just a feel good song. The music video captured a storyline arch that is rarely done and that other artists constantly try to imitate.

He contributed so much to people's lives and to the music culture in general that there will surely not be another one like him. He was truely one in a million

    Micheal Jackson
    You will be surely missed
