a great debut album (2009's Do You Want The Truth, Or Something Beautiful?) some great songs (shouts to "New York" and the whimsical "Stargazer"), and such a unique voice and style. I usually hate when I see artists with all that going for them with a glitter bow on top---and nothing comes from it afterward, which is what I feared for Paloma after hearing nothing but silence from her corner these last couple of years.
Casting that fear aside occurred when the news that Paloma is returning for a follow-up album came my way. Oh, yes!
Fall To Grace will be impeding in May of this year, with a first single called, "Picking Up The Pieces" . The coolest bit of that news is that Nellee Hooper, who has produced for the likes of Massive Attack, Madonna ("Bedtime Story"), and oh yeah, someone by the name of Bjork. He's actually producing the whole she-bang of Fall To Grace, which according to Paloma, is going to dipped in a 'cinematic mood'. Ooh, the action....can't wait.
