'body parts', Christina Aguliera wants you to...well...she wants you to either love your own body or do some freak nasty stuff to someone else's body, and now here we have José James talking about it. Though it may seem a little premature to be thinking about 2013's releases, it is never too early to have a little taste of what is to come.
James has gotten us all hot n' bothered for the release of his third album, No Beginning No End, by way of his It's All Over Your Body EP, and it's succulent title-track. The new Blue Note label signee has one of the most distinctive voices around and once again he drapes it all over this horn laden stir groove that will immediately make you feel warm n' sexy once you turn it on. If you listen a little closely you can here a bit of some D'Angelo influence in its fabric, but as always, James knows how to charm the pants off of you and "It's All Over Your Body" is just another perfect addition to his sensual arsenal.
If it all sounds familiar to you, we've uncovered "Body" earlier this year, along with single "Trouble", both of which are present on the EP, which is currently out now. Another exquisite delight present on the EP is the acoustic "Come To My Door" which features favorite Emily King as she straps on her guitar and joins James in a lush lover's waltz. With these tease, the wait for No Beginning No End (which will sport appearances from King, Robert Glasper, Hindi Zahara, among others) will now be a impatient one.
